At Restorabilia, every piece of furniture begins with responsibly sourced, sustainable timber. We use wood that is either FSC or NHLA certified, ensuring our materials are ethically harvested and meet the highest environmental and quality standards.
Our Cape Town workshop is where craftsmanship and care come together. The process starts with thorough moisture testing and precise planing, edging, and laminating of the raw timber. From there, boards are carefully cut to size, moulded, jointed, and assembled by our skilled cabinetmakers, many of whom have decades of experience in fine furniture making.
Once assembled, each piece moves to our dedicated sanding area, where it is refined to a smooth, flawless finish. Finally, it enters the finishing department, where our expert finishers apply hand-selected coatings that bring out the natural beauty of the wood and protect it for years to come.
Our furniture designs are ever-evolving, driven by the needs and preferences of our customers. Whether it's a custom commission or a new concept for our showroom, our workshop is a space of constant innovation—where quality, detail, and craftsmanship are never compromised.
